Does it also work with MSFS 2020?

Yes. SimInstructor supports both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, as well as DCS World and X-Plane 11/12. The same license covers all supported simulators.

Which aircraft are supported?

Every aircraft that exposes data through SimConnect. This includes default aircraft, premium deluxe aircraft, and popular third-party add-ons from PMDG, Fenix, iniBuilds, and others.

How does the AI know my aircraft procedures?

SimInstructor AI models are trained on official aircraft documentation, POH data, and manufacturer procedures. For aircraft with custom training packs, you get step-by-step flows specific to that exact model.

Is it free?

SimInstructor offers a free 24-hour trial with no credit card required. After that, you can choose a one-time purchase (Pro) or subscription (Premium) plan.

Can I use voice or do I have to type?

Both. SimInstructor supports hands-free voice interaction — ask questions, get answers, all without leaving the cockpit. You can also type if you prefer.

Does it work on Xbox or PlayStation?

The desktop companion app requires Windows. However, the Briefing Room (web-based voice instructor) works on any device including Xbox, PlayStation, iPad, and phone.

Will it slow down my sim?

No. SimInstructor runs as a lightweight companion app alongside the simulator. It communicates via SimConnect and has minimal impact on frame rates.
